Circle Garden

​By the year 2000, there were few burials in Mount Pleasant Cemetery as the plot owners had long since left Newark and their descendants had little or no connection to the city.  The cemetery's managing board wanted Mount Pleasant to renew its mission of providing a peaceful burial ground, and so the "Circle Garden" was born.  Beautifully landscaped and convenient to the front entrance gates, “The Circle Garden” was opened in the spring of 2023,
