Friends of Historic Mount Pleasant

The Friends of Historic Mount Pleasant, Inc. is a volunteer-led 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting Newark’s oldest cemetery as both a historic landmark and a community resource. Through tours, events, and educational outreach, the Friends work to keep local history alive for future generations.
